Datalink Celebrates 20-Year Anniversary

August 1, 2007, Chanhassen, Minn. – Datalink (Nasdaq: DTLK), an independent information storage architect, announced today that it is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Datalink began in 1987 as a value added distributor selling disk and tape storage products to integrators for resale. In the 1990s, as end-user data storage needs grew exponentially, the company evolved with the needs of their customers to focus exclusively on designing, building and supporting storage infrastructures.

“We are very proud of what Datalink has accomplished over the last 20 years,” said Charlie Westling, Datalink president and CEO. “Datalink has grown from a small regional distributor to the largest independent storage solutions provider in the United States.”

As an independent storage solutions provider, Datalink is not tied to any one specific manufacturer. Based in Chanhassen, Minn., the company currently has 21 offices across the United States and in its most recent fiscal year had annual sales of approximately $146 million.
